What’s the difference between this store and the old one?

This store is entirely print on-demand, which means all items are created and shipped by a third party company. After extensive sampling, we chose to go with two different companies: Represent for phone cases and Printful for everything else.

This also means that certain items like the fan art books, button sets, and the 2017 ClexaCon shirt are no longer available to buy. If there is enough interest, we may look into ways to continue selling some of the items we have left; but currently there is no way to purchase any of those products.

How long does it take for orders to be filled?

Most orders are printed and shipped out within one week. This, however, is dependent on both companies having the requested color/size in stock. If they are waiting for more inventory, it may take an extra couple of days. 

Please note: if you order multiple items and some are in stock while others are not, Printful will proceed with partial order completion and shipments at no additional charge to you.

Shipping

When will orders ship?

Orders will usually go out within one week of receipt.

Are you taking International orders?

Both companies ship internationally, so yes, we do! 

How does shipping work since you're using two companies?

If you order a phone case and any other item, you will get two shipments, so one may ship out and arrive before the other. You only pay one fee at checkout and that fee covers both shipments. We've worked the extra shipping cost into the price of the phone cases as well as shipping, so the shipping cost (especially for international orders) won't double.

What about customs fees for international orders?

Shipments outside of the USA may incur customs fees, depending on the destination country. The fee may vary depending on your order value, country limits, and other factors. That’s something that unfortunately, we can’t control and you would have to pay if your country’s customs office holds the order.

Will your organization name appear on the receipt and shipment? Will LGBT be mentioned anywhere?

Orders made through PayPal will be marked as 'LGBT Fans Deserve Better' on your statements, unfortunately we're unable to change this as it's our legal business name. However orders placed directly via credit card are processed using Stripe and will list on your statements as 'FansDB' with no mention of 'LGBT'. 

As for the label on the packages, we've done our best to set everything up so that 'LGBT' is not listed on those. If that isn't the case, please let us know so we can change it.

We understand everyone’s situation is different and do our best to keep that in mind when setting things like this up. If you are only able to pay via PayPal and this is an issue for you please contact us and we'll try to find a solution so you don't miss out. 

Returns

I don’t like the fit of the shirt, can I return it for a different size?

As we are using a print on-demand company, returns may not be possible depending on what we have printed already and additional costs may be incurred. Please contact us if you are unhappy with the sizing and we'll see what can be done. 

Refund/Return policy?

Any returns or problems that occur because of an error on Printful or Represent's part part will be handled at their expense.

If you would like to exchange or return a product without any defect or due to a wrong size being ordered, contact us and we'll see what we can do. 

Can I cancel an order after it has been placed?

As we are now using a print on-demand company, orders will need to be canceled or changed usually within 24 to 48 hours in order to make the change before printing begins. We would be able to add additional products, however, switching sizes once printing has begun may result in additional charges.

Other

What happened to the fanart books, button sets, and other items from the first store?

We still have some inventory left and if demand is high enough, we may look into ways to sell them. For now, there is no way to buy any items that aren't listed on this store.

Where do the profits from this store go?
